PRAL-BR members receive Lantern Awards
Multiple PRAL-BR members were recognized at the 2025 Lantern Awards program held during the SPRF Conference held Oct. 19-21 in Bossier City, Louisiana. The Lantern Awards program recognizes excellence in strategic communications, honoring projects that exemplify creativity, innovation and impactful results.
“Each year, the Lantern Awards showcase the remarkable talent and dedication of public relations professionals across our region,” said SPRF president Patrice Guilfoyle, APR. “The entries submitted this year reflect an impressive level of strategic thinking, creativity and execution. It’s clear that our members are setting a high standard for professional excellence, and their work continues to elevate the reputation of our industry throughout the Gulf South.”
Submissions are scored on their individual merit based on adherence and success utilizing the four-step RPIE process by PR practitioners outside SPRF's four-state region. Award-winning entries demonstrating excellence in process and results are recognized with Certificates of Merit and Awards of Excellence, with top projects and programs earning Lantern Awards. A Best of Tier award winner is selected from the highest-scored Lantern-winning entries in each tier, with the Best of Show award selected from the three Best of Tier winners.
Winners and their award-winning projects were honored during a special ceremony at the conference, bringing together public relations practitioners, educators and students to celebrate the best in the industry.
