President's Report (June 2026)

Dear PRAL Baton Rouge Members,
As I close my time as President of PRAL Baton Rouge, I’ve been reflecting on what this experience has meant, not just what we’ve accomplished, but why it mattered.
I stepped into this role committed to bringing my best. I’m always mindful that how I lead is a reflection of those who have invested in me, and this was an opportunity to give that back. It was a chance to make meaningful deposits into this chapter using everything I’ve learned along the way.
What I’m most proud of is that we didn’t just maintain this chapter. We strengthened it. We built a more stable, thoughtful, and intentional foundation so this organization can continue to serve you through stronger programming, deeper connections, and a clearer path forward.
That work only happened because of this board. Each director brought a unique perspective, high standards, and a genuine care for getting things right for you. That level of intention is what made the difference.
We’re now at an important transition point. I encourage you to review the proposed bylaw updates and join us at the Summer Social to vote and welcome the next board.
While things may look quiet this summer, this chapter is not slowing down. The next board is stepping in with momentum, vision, and a strong foundation to build on.
I can say this with full confidence: we are stronger than when we started.
Thank you for showing up, staying engaged, and being part of what makes this chapter matter.
It has been an honor to serve you.
Sincerely,
Tracy White
President, PRAL Baton Rouge (2024–2026)
